What Catherine's Students Are Saying...
Catherine, your talent is limitless and your approach to your art, helping and teaching others, and just plain life, is so remarkable! Thanks for everything!-- Jene Thatcher, Flemington
I took an Introduction to Calligraphy class with Catherine and enjoyed it immensely! I am severely artistically challenged, yet she never made me feel inept or lost patience with my slow progress. She found creative ways to help each individual master the basic techniques of calligraphy and create lovely works of art. I am looking forward to learning more from her in future classes. -- Elizabeth Downing, Doylestown
Catherine 'Calligraphy Goddess' Lent is an absolutely divine instructor/guide in the calligraphic arts. The skills I have gained in even those few classes gave me the confidence to create art on my own. Catherine inspired a love of calligraphy in me! Her passion is positively infectious.-- Karen Malzone, Bucks County
I am blessed to have had the opportunity to be a student, client and friend of yours, Catherine! I never consider the advertisement for your classes that I saw years ago as a coincidence - I remember thinking, "I wish I had time for that," and DID it rather than wait for more time in my life... and it has blessed me in so many ways. It has also given me the opportunity to introduce some of my family and friends to you and your work, and they have been so happy. I thank you. -- Heidi Funke, Clinton
Catherine is a wonderfully patient teacher! She makes you feel comfortable and clearly demonstrates all of the painstaking details you need to remember when creating calligraphy for the first time. She shares her information and tips openly to help you succeed. I am left-handed, which can present a challenge when doing calligraphy; however, Catherine's knowledge and preparation let me leave Beginner Italic with a feeling of accomplishment. -- Ursula Accumanno, Hunterdon County
